ZipSnap 2.0
A free application to keep backups via the command line.
ZipSnap is a tool to create and keep your backups, very simple and small in size, but without a graphic interface. It is controlled exclusively via the command line. The program creates ZIP compressed packets at specific times, as if they were "system captures," adding to each packet only the files or data that wasn't included in the previous ZIP copy.
ZipSnap is a program written in Java, which can only work in a platform equipped with Java Runtime Environment 5.0 or later. Obviously it is a completely free software. The successive packets with backups that ZipSnap creates are automatically named with the original file name, plus a suffix which includes the exact time (snaptime) the copy was made.
